Embassy of Romania - Diplomatic Social Golf Tournament in Lipica

The tournament took place in the idyllic surroundings of the Lipica Golf Course and was not intended exclusively for golf enthusiasts - the main purpose of the event was to socialise in a relaxed atmosphere, in good company and with plenty of excellent food and drink.

The event started with the registration of the participants, followed by the players' assembly and then the official start of the competition with the so-called "shotgun start". After the tournament, guests gathered for dinner in the Maestoso's Gratia Restaurant, where the awards ceremony and the announcement of the results took place. This year was especially special for us, because our Urška Tomšič won 1st place in the women's category with a great game, and also received a special prize for the shot closest to the pin. Congratulations, Urška!

The event was a great opportunity for informal networking between representatives of the diplomatic corps, business and other professionals - and, as always, for making new acquaintances and strengthening existing ties.
