The beginning of the construction of the B-tower was symbolically announced by the director of the K.Tivoli company Tine Vadnal and the mayor of Novogorje Klemen Miklavič. As Vadnal explained, they stuck to basic projects, only slightly optimizing floor plans to make them more usable and housing more functional.
New apartments will be cheaper than used ones
“We have not started the sale of apartments in the first building, where there will be 73 apartments, but we will now, within a week. However, there is a lot of interest, ”Vadnal explained, adding that the first tower would be built in the first half of 2021, when the first vacations would be possible. The value of the investment in the first building is ten million euros, as will the construction of the second, which will start as soon as all the apartments in the first are sold.
“The selling prices will be just under 2000 euros with VAT per square meter. Based on the market analysis of second-hand flats in Nova Gorica, which we have done, new flats will be cheaper as the price of second-hand flats on the market ranges between 2000 and 2200 euros per square meter, ”said K.Tivoli, CEO of founded the project company K.Majske for construction in the May Fields.
According to Vadnal, the 1000 square meter buyer already has a large office space in Tower B, since the sale contract is in the final stage of harmonization, but he has not yet wanted to disclose it.

Without housing, there is no youth and development
“Nova Gorica is without a serious construction site without an identity. Finally, we are getting another major construction site and Nova Gorica is known for being a city under construction. We want it to be upgraded, that young people immigrate and stay in it and that we will also accelerate development, because young educated people are a necessary condition for our economy to live and develop, ”he said. the Mayor of Novi Sad.
As more housing comes on the market, the municipality expects to release other, cheaper housing, more affordable for those who do not have that much money or credit.
“But it is crucial that this border area, which has been degraded so far, is finally filled up, to get its image, which is also important for the construction of the conurbation. We will soon be organizing the Square of Europe, and here is creating a new center of both Gorizia, a conurbation that will set an example for the whole of Europe, ”said the mayor.
With respect to the remaining land in the vicinity, where the Primorje region has ambitiously planned for several smaller blocks of flats, so that as many as 700 apartments would be in the entire neighborhood, and K.Tivoli still owns the Primorje-owned property in bankruptcy, for now They are not interested because they are focused on building B and C buildings, but Miklavič explained that they want public content besides apartments, something that would contribute to life in this part of the city. "It is somewhere along the way between the two centers of Gorizia and therefore even more important in light of urban development," he concluded.
