BAMC successfully sells all 56 Celovški dvori apartments in the first phase of the sale

Ljubljana, 20. December 2016 – In the first stage of the sale, the number of binding bids exceeded the number of available apartments in the first block of the Celovški dvori residential complex, and all 56 units were immediately sold. There will therefore not be a second round. A new set of 51 apartments will be available for bidding in mid-January 2017, while the remaining 119 apartments and commercial premises will be put on sale in the spring of 2017.

BAMC is very satisfied with the final turnout, which, on average, was higher than the starting bid prices, and is particularly happy that the market confirmed the quality of the Celovški dvori residential complex. The seller logged approximately 1,700 viewings and received 450 binding offers. The enormous interest expressed by bidders on apartments in the residential complex and the fact that all apartments were sold in the first phase of the sale process already confirmed that the bad reputation of the Celovški dvori residential complex was entirely unfounded. The attractive starting bid prices for the high-quality apartments and the transparent, competitive and buyer-friendly sale process have yielded excellent results.

 

All buyers who were not selected in the first phase and other potential bidders will be given the opportunity to place their binding bids on the next 51 residential units, which are scheduled to go on sale immediately after the start of the new year. The apartments in the second wing - 5 studios, 21 one-bedrooms, 17 two-bedrooms and 8 three-bedrooms - are currently being prepped for sale, and the sale process will have an open-house viewing period of no more than 30 days since potential bidders are now familiar with the sale process. All remaining apartments and commercial premises will be put on the market in the spring of 2017. BAMC also intends to put other apartments and commercial premises on the market at attractive prices, taking into account the quality and pricing of comparable units available on the real estate market.
